ePipeMaster is designed with state and federal regulation in mind. At EZhou Int'l, we work our best to make sure our customer to be compliant with all state and federal regulation.

Security
Data security is ePipeMaster's first priority concern. The EZhou Int'l Team has a unique understanding of the daily challenges our customers' ‘front line’ operations personnel face, most importantly the ability to make quick decisions under pressure with ever-changing variables. In addition, our users must be able to report information to output systems in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. We understand the importance of data security for our customers and their clients. ePipeMaster's three dimensions data security protection ensure data is only accessible by authorized person.

First of all, ePipeMaster separate business unit's data into totally different database. Some companies own multiple pipeline units, each pipeline unit is identified as one business unit. EZhou Int'l's hosting environment provides a software as service for multiple clients with minimum maintenance effort for our clients. Under each situation, ePipeMaster guarantees the data separation for each business unit. Only specially customized batch processing or special GUI customization has the possibility to access data from multiple business units as client's special request according to their business.

Inside each business unit, we understand the necessity to keep the data separated for each business associate/shipper. Inside ePipeMaster, users are separated into two major groups. Group one is for users that come from business unit or transporter. This kind of user is called internal user also. Another group is for users that come from business unit's clients, business associates or shippers. This group of user is called external user. Our business associate/shipper based data set control makes sure a shipper's sensitive business data is only accessible by authorized internal user or by authorized external user from that shipper or its agents. ePipeMaster provides full support for authorized external user to grant a variety of agencies to another business associate. This shipper level data set security control is fully compliant with state and FERC regulation requirement.

At last, all GUI access to ePipeMaster is authorized by user group based role authorization control. Internal access list is built for each user when that user is logged on. This internal access list mainly includes:

• Which function area this user have access?
• Does this user has view only, modification, addition, and deletion right?
• Which kind of actions this user can take?
• Which data fields in the data set this user has access?

In summary, data security cannot be compromised. We understand the consequence of a data security break for our customers. At EZhou Int'l, we work our best to ensure data security for our customers.

Data retaining
In ePipeMaster, all user transaction records are kept. ePipeMaster is designed with regulation data retaining requirement in mind. Database tables in ePipeMaster are designed to keep data history. Data modification/deletion is handled in special way to keep old data history and provid new effective data.

User activity auditing
User's activity is logged in ePipeMaster, including the activity from batch processing. User activity auditing gives ePipeMaster business unit system administrator the ability to monitoring system performance and issue analysis helping information at run time.
